Bonang Lorato Masia graduated with an LLB from the University of Pretoria in 2003 and started her articles of clerkship in 2004. She was admitted as an attorney in 2006 and has earned rapid upward mobility in her career.
Bonang’s practice spans across a raft of areas of expertise including advice and litigation stemming from Public Law issues such as the interpretation of legislation and compliance. She regularly advises clients in the private and public sector in relation to corporate governance, regulatory compliance in the healthcare sector, public procurement, Public Finance Management Act obligations, as well as general corporate and commercial matters.
The core focus of Bonang’s practice consists of legal opinions to clients on matters relating to interpretation of statutes, compliance with applicable legal prescripts; review of internal policies; reviewing and drafting of agreements. In addition, Bonang is passionate about Competition Law, being her specialist field of interest, holding a certificate in the subject from the University of Pretoria.
