Fanisa is currently an Associate Attorney at Lebea Inc. Attorneys. She advises clients in employment, litigation and corporate and commercial law. She has been acting for public and private clients in diverse industries and sectors including local government, state entities and institutions of higher education and learning. Her practice includes drafting various legal documents such as contracts, policies, court pleadings, settlement agreements, legal opinions, investigation reports, amongst others.
Fanisa’s practice covers misconduct cases, poor work performance, sexual harassment, unfair labour practices, procurement, and termination of executives.
She is experienced in drafting charge sheets, suspension notices mutual separation agreements, amongst others. She has advised and represented clients in various forums such as disciplinary hearings, CCMA, Bargaining Council, and Labour Court.
Fanisa has worked alongside Counsels in representing clients in motion, action, appeals and urgent matters relating to contractual disputes at various Courts, the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa, and in interdict applications at High Courts and Supreme Court of Appeal.
