Neo obtained her LLB degree from the University of Pretoria in 2020.  During her tenure at the University of Pretoria, she served as a Judge and Senior Judge of the Constitutional Tribunal of the University of Pretoria.


She was previously a Tutor at MiCampus Tutors where she was tutoring the following modules: Jurisprudence 110, Insolvency Law 310, Entrepreneurial Law 320 and Private Law 420. In 2020, she volunteered to be a research assistant on a global project called the CoronaNet Research Project, and was mainly involved in the data collection process. Her work mainly involved sifting through news reports to identify different policies that various governments have enacted to combat COVID-19.


Neo began her articles at Malatji & Co Attorneys in 2020 where she obtained training in the Commercial Litigation and Public Law Department, Corporate Commercial Department as well as the Employment Law Department. Some of the work undertaken by Neo during her articles include the administration of deceased estates, litigation in the high courts, magistrates courts as well as labour courts, the CCMA and bargaining councils. She also has experience in arbitrations before the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa. She has also worked on medical schemes particularly section 43 inquiries as well as mergers and acquisitions of medical schemes.


During her articles, she undertook a short course with the University of Pretoria in Insolvency Law and Practice. She obtained a certificate for the course in 2021.


Neo has recently been appointed as an associate in the Employment Law Department.
