Samuel obtained his LLB from the North-West University in 2014 and his LLM in 2015. He was subsequently conferred his LLD by the North-West University in 2022. From June 2018 to July 2019 Samuel had the privilege of working as a Law Clerk at the Constitutional Court of South Africa to Justice Johan Froneman.

Subsequent to his clerkship at the Constitutional Court, Samuel worked as an Associate at Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyer Incorporated. Sam joined Malatji & Co as an associate in April 2020. He has since had a rapid upward mobility at the firm and has recently been promoted to a director in our Employment law Department.
